5% Feather Fund™

We are an ecologically committed business that voluntarily contributes a portion of our annual profits to help support and sustain bird populations, rehabilitate and preserve bird habitat, and improve and repair our shared ecosystem.

When you purchase any of Bowerbird & Company's signature products you are donating directly to many local non-profit groups that have developed unique and progressive programs to educate our youth about birds, aided in important wild land acquisition to keep avian habitat thriving, and have worked tirelessly for the protection of avian species.

Congratulations to the newest Feather Fund Recipient: ROGUE VALLEY AUDUBON SOCIETY

The mission of the Rogue Valley Audubon Society is to support the conservation and restoration of ecosystems so that birds and other wildlife may flourish and contribute to our planet's biodiversity.

Members enjoy observing wildlife and seek its protection through efforts to advance public understanding of the relationships of all life forms and the consequences of interfering with these relationships.

Rogue Valley Audubon Society members are concerned conservationists who work to extend the public's awareness of the value of conservation. They also seek to inform and influence lawmakers so that their work may reflect this value.

The Rogue Valley Audubon Society recently announced it will again contribute scholarship funds to support Jackson County educators' enrollment in Siskiyou Field Institute classes. Eligible educators include any Jackson County teacher, student teacher, classroom assistant or staff of non-profit organizations involved in outdoor/natural history education.

Rogue Valley Audubon Society vice president Sooney Viani explained the chapter's gift: "RVAS members are concerned conservationists and welcome the opportunity to support valley educators who want to expand their knowledge of nature and experiences in it. Educators who are inspired by SFI classes and are interested in sharing that knowledge with their students are encouraged to apply for scholarships."
